EMPOWER Mentoring Program

Best results happen in a multiple phase process over two years:
Phase I: Build It (Year One)
Identify the areas of greatest need, and put the foundations of the EMPOWER system in place through a strategic planning process. Develop the shared vision and school culture, engage buy-in, and provide skills and mindset training through in-service, individual and group coaching, and laser coaching in response to teachable moments.
Phase II: EMPOWER It (Year Two)
Now that you've got the basics in place and the culture is shifting toward a shared vision, we use ongoing coaching, reflection and feedback to continually improve while acknowledging progress and praising performance. Identify the formal and informal leaders to begin training for the Own It phase.
Phase III: Own It (Year Two)
Create a sustainable system to maintain the shifts without the outside coach and trainer. Engage master teachers and administrators in a train-the-trainer program so you can now provide the support, coaching and training internally. Implement strategies to bring new administration, staff and students into the culture to ensure
sustainability.
